Freekeh-fied Moroccan Chicken Soup
Errieda Du Toit of huiskok.com fame so loved cooking with freekeh, she is including the Freekeh-fied version of her favourite spicy Moroccan Chicken Soup with Chermoula Crumbs in her new cookbook, TUISTAFEL. This bowl of multi-layered, warming flavours is served with fine slices of raw beetroot, thick yoghurt and fried mint leaves. Oh, have we mentioned ‘topped with buttery chermoula-freekeh crumbs’?
